The Student Emergency Fund provides immediate, small-scale financial support to North Orange County ROP students facing incidental expenses that can limit participation and confidence in Career Technical Education programs. The fund helps cover essential but unfunded needs such as uniforms, safety gear, tools, transportation, and competition or certification fees. 

By removing these short-term financial barriers, the fund ensures equitable access to hands-on learning and enrichment opportunities, increases students’ confidence and sense of belonging, and supports students’ successful transition from classroom instruction to real-world practice. Funds are distributed on an as-needed basis through NOCROP staff, with awards of up to $50 per student.  (The committee will take up to a month to disperse the fund. Please plan ahead)
