About The Career Education Foundation
EMPOWERING STUDENT FUTURES FOR OVER 50 YEARS

Founded in 1973 by John Dewey, the Career Education Foundation (CEF) has spent more than five decades championing North Orange County ROP students by providing the financial support that helps them rise, thrive, and reach their full potential. While our signature Celebration of Success scholarships proudly honor outstanding student achievement, our impact extends far beyond one moment in the year—we also provide emergency grants, essential funding, and critical resources that remove financial barriers and ensure students can stay on track, no matter their circumstances.
Every contribution to CEF fuels real lives and real futures, empowering determined students with the access, stability, and encouragement they need to pursue their dreams. When you support CEF, you help transform potential into possibility—one student, one opportunity, one future at a time.
